The talented Xun Liang is one of the most highly esteemed drummers in China and a member of the "China Percussion Association", for whom he is doing very important events around the world such as the prestigious "Salt Lake City Jazz Festival". He is a lecturer for modern jazz at the Tianjin Conservatory of Music and aside from that he educates as a secondary school teacher.
Xun Liang studied trumpet and started his drum degree course in 1999. During the same year he went to the "Hebei Vocational Collage of Art" and received a Jazz-scholarship. Since gaining his degree in 2002 he switched on to the "Tianjin Conservatory of Music" where he finished his master of arts in professional Jazz-music.
