I was born in Korea in 1982. When I was in the third grade of high school, I started to learn to play percussion instruments and majored in church music at university. Since then, I've been performing at various international events.
From 2015 to September 2018, I was a member of Joypoly, the first Korean cajon ensemble. Currently, choir performances are very active and popular in Korea. I usually play chorus percussion, such as a concert with a municipal choir.
And I run the Percussion Education Association, and train the music teachers of middle and high school and also study the curriculum of school music class. In particular, I am the first musician to lecture on the cajon during the teacher training of middle and high school music teachers supervised by the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, the largest region in Korea.
