The Sela Thin Splash playing surfaces make Sela Cajons unique. Produced in a special process, they offer maximum response and an optimum sound development. Already from the first touch, you can feel that the playing surfaces are particularly soft and thereby allow a fatigue-free playing.
Through the unique design of the CaSela and Wave models a subsequent replacement of the playing surface is possible. There are different veneers to choose from: Satin Nut, Tineo, Zebrano, White Pearl, Black Pearl and Makassar. Custom fronts with your own design can also be attached. Since wood is a natural product, there are endless variations of the same veneer. The pre-selection in the Sela workshop ensures that only the finest veneer strips are used.

The spectacularly grained playing surface not only looks stunning in combination with the white Wave body and the solid maple corners: The musically balanced sound of the Pearl veneer is supported by the extraordinary stability of the body material.
Extremely cool and dynamic: The Black Pearl veneer offers a spectacular 3D look. Depending on the light incidence the wood grain seems to create ever-changing new structures. This Cajon is visually and sonically an absolute highlight!
This veneer looks great on any stage. The deep black wood is crisscrossed by white stripes and features a high-contrast look. The fiber growth enables a richly nuanced sound. The playing surface responds extremely fast and flexible.
The special construction design of the CaSela and Wave Snare Cajon and a new printing technique provide unlimited design possibilities while offering the traditional crisp Sela sound. No films, stickers or other sound-influencing materials are used.
